Let it never be said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks. In fact, this old dog is pretty excited about the tricks I have learned recently. Before I send you off to learn about these new tricks, let me tell you a bit about my own journey. Now if it sounds like you, don’t worry. I didn’t just change your name to protect the guilty.
I have been a networker for the better part of 20 years. The wife and I have been at the top. We have set on the advisory boards, we have been invited to fly here and there and I guess you could say, we have had a pretty successful life in the industry. But we never started out successful. Like many people today, we were taught to make a list of family, friends and business associates and get the top ten on the phone. Go man, you can’t help but succeed we were told!
Bull_ _ _ _! I got kicked in the teeth so many times and told “No” I was beginning to wander if this was the industry for me. Then an evolution began. I started to work smarter, not harder. I started to learn a few tricks that improved our sponsoring rate and increased our income. I was excited about what I had learned. I was also disappointed by what I saw. Newbies coming into the industry were not able to duplicate my efforts. If only there was a way…..
I began to see opportunity. What if we could apply the basic skill sets needed in belly to belly, toe to toe sales to a systematic approach using the internet and available technologies? What if a new person joining me could have the same creditability and be seen as an expert? What is I could teach the new folks to systemize their efforts and using the power of the internet and some well earned experience in marketing that I provided, what if they could succeed despite themselves?
And that is why I am writing this article. So you can see how we have systemized the process and provided the foundation upon which you can build a real business in the MLM industry.
