So like a lot of people I started my search for a new way to make money online, and like a lot of others it was very frustrating to say the least so much to choose from with all the hype and no deliverables.

Every time I thought I had found the next BIG THING I was shot down when they simply did not produce thus was my problem where to find something that did what it said and made me money before I was out of money. Have you been asking yourself if it’s about time you had a great opt-in list? Start joining forums from other sites as well social networking groups. Provide expert advice and recommendations, step into leadership. When you feel that people trust you already, you will be able to start your own opt-in list. You can build a base as well with other forum users. You can ask them to join your list. Friends are always good customers. Put up a link to your site so that they may be able to see what you’re business is all about.

The simple truth is this, the money will only come in when the consumers and subscribers BELIEVE and TRUST in you. They want a product or service that could be a good exchange for their money. People are not going to buy something out of your recommendation if they don’t know you, if they don’t trust you.

2) What are people looking for? Find a service or product that people want and need. Although it may not be your forte, if you provide a service and product that you have researched and learned about well, you can carry it on forward. Invest your time, effort and money that you could sell as well as the buyers or subscribers of your opt-in list can use.

It is true that it is best to sell something that you have interest in, there are not many people who have the same interest as you if you decide to sell something that is not entirely popular or profitable. Do your research well and you would see the profits come in. Also provide your subscribers with promotional material that they could actually use and spread around, this creates value.

3) Get to know other opt-in list users. This is basically beneficial especially if it is someone who has already launched a successful opt-in list. Make a connection; these are people that have the experience in this venture and experience is still the best teacher. I realize there are many articles available for you in the internet to use, there is nothing like getting a first hand account from someone you trust.

An experienced opt-in list user will be able to tell you what works and what doesn’t, because they have gone through it. While different situations occur for different people, this concept can still be very helpful. There are many things to avoid and these people will be able to tell you what they are as well as many tips and techniques.

Building a profitable opt-in list won’t happen overnight but it will happen. There are many preparations and effort to do. Opt-in lists are built from scratch, as your list grows, you should also maintain the quality of your list. Keep it organized and manageable. Get or hire help if need be, just make sure that your subscribers are happy and satisfied and they will be willing to buy from you today and tomorrow. If you build it they will come!

97% of people quit, remember it takes 10,000 hours to become an expert. You too can become an expert at your home business or where ever your dream takes you.

1) Make a Decision
At the age of 65, 97 % of people are dead or dead broke; you need to de-associate from people going nowhere. You will find that you have a number of negative people in your life. If you don’t want to be just like them, get away from them. That may even be one of your family members, which does not mean that you never see them again however you will have to limit your exposure to them until you are strong enough to not get caught up in all the negative thinking.

Act abnormal, be above normal. When you act normal just like everyone else you are insulting your dream. By not paying attention to that dream inside you; you are insulting it! Let’s say you have a beautiful car which was made to be driven. Leave it in a garage for five years, don’t drive it, and simply ignore it. You know what condition that car will be in at the end of the five years; you won’t be able to drive it without major repairs. Ignore your dream like you ignore the car and you will have to do major repair to your dream. Make that decision – are you going to commit to your dream or quit? Be like the 97% or make that decision and just go for it and become a 3%’er.

2) Daily Habit
What you do every day will decide your future. It took my strategic business coach John Di Lemme a while to drill this one into my head. My first big break thru was when I quit watching TV. That is good for two reasons; a) you have more time b) no longer being bombarded with all the negative news. What is the habit you need to break in order to have your breakthrough? Are you like me and it is the “hellavision” or is it something else? Take a look at your daily habits are they moving you forward to your dream or further away from it?

3) Emotionally Fit; you must renew your strength each day. Fight the war of words that goes on inside your head and all around you. I just had the discussion with my sisters regarding how some phrases are so ingrained into our society we don’t even notice how bad they are. I am sure you can think of a few. Do not take your words lightly as the mind cannot tell when you are kidding. Your mind will take everything to be true. I totally disagree with the old phrase “Sticks and Stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me”. Just ask a teenage girl how it feels to have someone tell her that her clothes look ugly on her. Believe me there is pain and hurt there. Fight the war of your words EVERY day.

Just by reading this article you are ahead of the game; you are out there searching for ideas and opinions. Expanding and learning is a good thing, keep up the good work. This statement alone sent the industry upside down and mlmers grabbed this statement and ran with it as there slogan. The only problem was that Robert didn’t say anything about getting involved in MLMs (multi level marketing). For those of you that don’t know the difference. There is a huge difference between MLM (few hundred a month) and network marketing/direct sales (tens of thousands per month). That is right, there is no typo there, tens of thousands.

If you don’t know the difference, I will break it done for you now.

The Direct Sales business model pays you a substantial amount of money up front. Due to your efforts of productivity, it also pays you on a few levels of your organizations efforts of productivity. Then, once you fully qualify, it will pay you on infinite levels of productivity. NOT based on the production of Jim and Nicole out in Montana down on your 8th level.

MLM on the other hand, pays you in small amount over many levels. That is why there is not a lot of money in your checks in the beginning. The business model is set up to pay the big money on the deeper levels of the pay plan. The reason the pay plan is set up like this is because 93.5% of multi level marketing reps will never grow their organization deeper then three or four levels.   It’s a horrifying realization that your paycheck is solely dependent on the strangers in your organization that you never met. Your fate in now in their hands and this is why so many people create a welfare mentality. They try to do everything they can for people in their organization. They end up doing all the work for their downline because they know if they don’t their check will be small and their downlines will be dead. You simply cannot earn a full-time living on your own personal efforts with a MLM business or a MLM compensation plan. It’s wasn’t created for that.

Now, I don’t mean any disrespect to MLMs. They are a very productive way for big companies to disburse their products/services into the marketplace. However from an online business aspect, the dropout and failure rate is too high. That is why there is never enough money to go around.

There may come a time in your marketing career when you feel none of the hard work you’re doing isn’t paying off. The help you are providing to your prospects to start their business isn’t working. You know that if you can’t help them make money within 3-6 months they will leave or quit. So you try to find way to motivate them, but you find the duplication process is not duplicating like it should. After this happens you may find yourself spending 90% of your time creating new systems of duplication: websites and tools. Thinking this will help them acquire success, they said they wanted. You may find yourself so consumed with your team’s duplication, that you stop sponsoring all together and go into a management state. However, the crazy part is you notice that even this is not working. It doesn’t matter how much you want someone to succeed. The prospects that are getting results continued to get results and the prospects who are stagnant continue to be stagnant.

You have to understand this right now. The only way your business and downline is going to grow is to be a leader and lead by example. Do what you need to do to build your online business, keep prospecting, advertising, following up, and beginner orientations. Only have one training a week for all your new distributors. Spend most of your time with your top producer’s one on one. It’s all about continuing to find new distributors as well as finding distributors with in your business that produce and succeed. The frustrating part about new prospects is that most of them will never be serious. They are just looking for the get rich quick over night biz. So there’s only one thing you can do and that is don’t indulge in their weaknesses, don’t waste your time and energy worrying, and don’t change your websites, tools or system if they work for you.

You have to develop a tough skin if you want longevity and success in this industry. Continue to build your business and lead by example. You will notice that the right entrepreneurs will find you and start to follow you. Except absolutely no negativity into your life, leave the welfare mentality out of the equation.   Your not here to save every person, you’re here to provide them with a way out. They have to be willing to take the reins of their lives and want to take action. It’s a better idea to find the prospects who take action. Then it is to turn the lazy and welfare mentality prospect into them. 

The last pointer I will leave you with is leverage. As a smart business owner, you will want to leverage numbers in your business growth.   Then you won’t even notice the people who have a welfare mentality. The easiest way to leverage numbers is marketing and advertising. Then develop a list that you can advertise to over time. The new contacts will bring new, interested prospects and reps to the table. So let’s recap, get rid of the welfare mentality. Continue to find prospects that want to take action. Worry about your business and the producers and you will have longevity and success for years to come. Here’s to your success.

Having great intuition is not something that comes natural to most people. However, there are great techniques that you can implement to strengthen your intuition. One technique I use is called doing through research. This can aid you in making a solid intuitive decision. Another technique that can help you make a solid intuitive decision is the risk vs. the reward. To use this technique effectively the reward will have to be greater then the risk. It will also have to be worth the risk.

Their may come times in your life when your intuition is off. The risk you took turned out to be a failure. That’s o.k., don’t be afraid of failing. You will learn more and grow more as a person through failure, then the person who never tries at all. The unwillingness to take risk is so predominate in our society. That is why there are more poor people then rich.

There are many reasons why people will not take a risk. Some of the reason why are: they are afraid to lose, scared to try, easily persuade by other people’s opinions, think they can’t or don’t deserve it, and/or haunted by their past failures. When non risk takers see a nice expensive car drive by, like a Lamborghini, Ferrari or Maserati, they think to themselves, “That person is so lucky. I wish I was as lucky as them.” A risk taker thinks differently when they see nice cars. The say, “that person took a risk and now their reaping the rewards of it.   

The majority of entrepreneur focus too much on the “how part”, how am I going to do this, or how am I going to get started. This is how they come up short in the end. Don’t worry about the how, just get started. You will figure it out as you go. Do you think firefighter know exactly how each fire will pan out. No, they take one fire at a time and react to what happens. They don’t stop and think. They take immediate action, otherwise lives would be lost.   These types of entrepreneurs, like the fireman, have an unearthly amount of belief in their dexterity to decide when and what risk to take. This skill is develop through experience. They know when it is the right time to go for it and when to let it pass them by. They developed this skill through: a tremendous amount of practice, being very persistent and dedicated, failure, envisioning and having a vision, having a mentor and lastly a determined focus of achieving their goals. As a growing entrepreneur never be afraid to ask for help or advice from the right mentor, even the most respected and wealthiest has sought guidance at one point or another.

Another common trait amongst the super wealthy entrepreneurs is the ability to be a trail blazer/pioneer. They never do or get involved with what the majority are doing or involved in. They think for themselves and get ahead of the trends. This is why there are only a tiny percentage of wealthy entrepreneurs. Some things to keep in mind when trying to become a successful entrepreneur: be a pioneer, think out side the box, create the opportunity for the crowds, and lastly when the opportunity is saturated move to the next one. A great example would be the housing industry. Back in the 2001 through 2005 there was a very high demand for houses. So, contractors started building homes to meet this demand. Then in 2007 the market became saturated with homes. However more and more people were becoming contractors. They jumped on the bandwagon, but it was too late. The housing market then took a huge loss and all of these new contractors were up to there necks in unpaid bills, debts, loans, etc… The successful entrepreneurs were the ones who were there to capitalize in the beginning. 

Always remember you want to do the opposite of the crowds. You’re a successful entrepreneur; you set trends for the crowds, not the other way around. I will leave you with these last words. Always dream for the sky, do what you love and what makes you happy. Make sure to always do your due diligences, but if you come across an opportunity that your gut tells you to take advantage of. I know you will be scared and doubtful. However take action and take advantage of the opportunity. Just make sure you take action, don’t let life pass you by. Here’s to your success!
